Examination Management Services, Inc. (EMSI) is a private company that opened its doors in 1974, performing paramedical exams for clients throughout Texas.  Over 35 years later, EMSI has grown into a leading national provider of medical information, risk management and investigation services for thousands of clients in multiple lines of business.

We are an industry leader providing information to life and health insurance customers to help them make informed policy and claim decisions.  Our services include paramedical examinations, medical information-retrieval, application fulfillment, inspections and underwriting services.

Healthcare Services
We specialize in providing accurate, comprehensive information and support solutions that improve lives and service the unique needs of healthcare organizations.   Our core healthcare services include Healthy House Calls for health plan members, clinical trial and epidemiology study support services, wellness solutions and employment screening services.

Investigative Services
ICS Merrill is the Investigative Services Division of EMSI and the leading single-source provider of investigative services to the insurance industry, as well as a leading provider of corporate investigative services.  We offer surveillance, fraud investigations, claim investigations, IP fraud services, mortgage investigations, vendor management services and background investigations.  ICS Merrill provides fast, accurate and consistent service through a network of over 3,000 pre-screened and licensed investigators worldwide.

Our locations
EMSI is headquartered in Scottsdale, AZ. Through multiple regional service centers, a national service center and a nationwide network of affiliate offices, we give our clients the attention to detail of a local office with the speed and consistency of a large company. Our service centers are in Omaha, Irving, Waco, Salt Lake City and Jacksonville.
