Mark S. Davis*

President, Chief Executive Officer and Chairman

Mr. Davis is a skilled executive with more than 25 years experience in the insurance services industry, specializing in the life and health segment, with a track record of leading turnaround and growth of companies. Mr. Davis has specialized in building leadership teams with extensive experience in organizational improvement that are recognized as the best in the industry. Prior to joining EMSI, Mr. Davis was President of Benesight, Inc., the nation's leading provider of benefit administrative services to self-insured employers. Benesight was owned by Fiserv, Inc., a Fortune 500 company. Previously, Mr. Davis held the position of Divisional President of EBP Healthplans, a publicly held company in the insurance industry. Mr. Davis has served on the Board of Directors for several non-profit companies.

Robert P. Brook*

Executive Vice President and President, Healthcare Services

Mr. Brook is a seasoned insurance executive and entrepreneur with nearly 25 years of experience in the healthcare industry. Mr. Brook brings to the company considerable experience in insurance services specializing in growth initiatives, establishing distribution channels, product development and creating a culture around world-class sales and customer care. Prior to joining EMSI, he held senior management positions with Trewit, Inc., a health services holding company, and UnitedHealth Group, Inc. and has served on several boards of directors for start-up companies, non-profit organizations and for-profit companies.

Jon Gruenhagen*

Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Gruenhagen joined EMSI in August, 2005 as CFO. Mr. Gruenhagen has over 20 years of financial management experience, including mergers and acquisitions, debt and equity financing, treasury management and strategic business planning. He most recently served as Principal for Gruenhagen Consulting, LLC, a management advisory firm specializing in strategic planning, debt and equity financing, start-up consulting, and M&A due diligence. Prior to that, Mr. Gruenhagen was the Chief Financial Officer for a Minneapolis-based healthcare administrator. Mr. Gruenhagen began his career with Deloitte & Touche and holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Texas Lutheran University.

Anthony R. Falisi

Corporate Secretary and General Counsel

Mr. Falisi was formerly a law clerk in the Office of the Monmouth County Prosecutor, Freehold, New Jersey. He was formerly a legal intern with the New York Stock Exchange Arbitration in New York, NY, and was with J.P. Morgan Guaranty Trust Company as a Financial Advisory Assistant. Mr. Falisi's Bar Admissions include the State of New Jersey, and State of Texas. He graduated from New York Law School as Juris Doctor, and earned his bachelor's of arts at Rutgers College, New Brunswick, New Jersey.

Ray Ann Cacheria 

Chief Information Officer

As chief information officer, Ms. Cacheria is responsible for providing executive leadership on all aspects of EMSI's information management and technology programs.  Ray Ann brings over 20 years of technology experience in delivering enterprise systems.  Prior to EMSI, she was the vice president of technology with Davaco, Inc., and with Greyhound Lines, Inc. where she held positions of director of systems delivery, and director of strategic planning and analysis.  Ms. Cacheria earned a bachelor of science in management information systems and marketing from Fordham University in New York. 

Jane Severson Kelly

Senior Vice President, Marketing and Development

Ms. Severson Kelly is responsible for overseeing the company's strategic marketing, product development, brand management, marketing communications and public relations initiatives. Ms. Severson Kelly, a veteran of the employee benefits and insurance services industries, formerly served as VP, Marketing and Product Development for a large regional health benefits administrator. Prior to that, she was Senior Vice President of online services for Trewit, a division of Fiserv Health. She has held various management roles at Benesight, FirstHealth and EBP Healthplans.

Craig Lockett

Senior Vice President of Human Resources

As senior vice president of Human Resources, Mr. Lockett is responsible for staff recruitment, compensation, performance management processes, employee relations and training initiatives in support of the strategic and operational goals of the company. He has held senior HR positions with PepsiCo (Quaker Oats & Frito-Lay Divisions), TYCO International and Phillips Medical Systems, NA. He holds a degree in Criminal Law from the University of Illinois and is an active member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), the Executive Leadership Council (ELC) and the Corporate Leadership Council (CLC).

Tom Rubenstein

Senior Vice President, Corporate Controller

Mr. Rubenstein is responsible for EMSI corporate accounting activities, financial reporting and leading our divisional controllers. He has over 25 years in finance and accounting leadership roles in large corporations. Prior to joining EMSI in 2006, he served as corporate controller for Bombay, where he played a pivotal role in Sarbanes-Oxley compliance and improving operational controls, governance and financial reporting accuracy. Mr. Rubenstein earned a BSBA from the University of Missouri-Columbia, majoring in Accounting and Economics and is a CPA and CMA.


 INSURANCE SERVICES DIVISION

Chad M. Gross*

Chief Operating Officer, Insurance Services Division

Mr. Gross has responsibility for EMSI's Insurance Services segment. He joined EMSI in 2004 and has served in several key management roles. In his current role as chief operating officer for the Insurance Services Division, he has direct operational oversight for our paramedical exam, medical record retrieval, underwriting, inspections, litigation services and quality functions.  Prior to his tenure at EMSI, Mr. Gross was the chief information officer for FISERV Health, a division of FISERV. Mr. Gross is a graduate of Concordia University.

Kim Anderson

Senior Vice President, Insurance Services

Ms. Anderson is responsible for the management and supervision of EMSI's exam services. She has over 20 years of comprehensive experience in the insurance and paramedical exam industry. Prior to joining the EMSI corporate team in 2005, Ms. Anderson was the president/CEO of Anderson Paramedical Services Inc., a 5 state, 20 office medical services company that provided paramedical exams and workplace services throughout the Midwest. Previously, she worked with Equifax in Atlanta before opening her first paramedical office in 1992.

Keith Hoeffner

Senior Vice President, Insurance Sales, Western Region

Mr. Hoeffner is responsible for the sale of new business underwriting requirement services for EMSI’s Western Region. He joined the company in 1992 and has held a variety of positions since. Before joining EMSI and the insurance industry, Mr. Hoeffner, a licensed professional engineer, provided consulting services to Texas Utilities’ largest retail clients, personally managing a $40 million book of business while supervising a staff of professional engineers and technicians. He received a BS in Electrical Engineering from Texas A&M University in 1982.

Kamette Myers

Senior Vice President, Relationship Management and Strategic Accounts

Ms. Myers is responsible for EMSI's relationship management programs, establishing and meeting customer requirements and distinguishing EMSI as a world-class service organization. Prior to joining the team at EMSI, she held various positions in insurance services specializing in employee benefits and risk management services. Most recently she directed the account management program for Benesight, a division of FISERV Health. She has also held senior positions with United Healthcare in account management, customer service and claims management.


 HEALTHCARE SERVICES DIVISION

Doug Merriman

Executive Vice President of Operations, Health Plan Services

Mr. Merriman has over 25 years of experience in the insurance industry, having held management positions in Claims, Underwriting, Policy Administration, Risk Management, and Agency Services as well as various General Management positions. As an Operations leader, he has a track record of guiding service organizations to achieve strong results through ongoing, client-centered, performance management and technology solutions. In his current role as Executive Vice President of Operations, Health Plan Services, Mr. Merriman drives all operational initiatives to consistently meet the varied needs of clients in our Health Plan Services unit. He holds the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation and has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from The Ohio State University.

Susan Gilmartin

Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, Employer Services

Ms. Gilmartin oversees all operational aspects of the Healthcare Services Division. She joined EMSI in 1996, bringing with her more than 10 years of experience in alternate site health care for both the occupational health and clinical trials industries and has held a variety of positions since joining the company. Prior to joining EMSI, Ms. Gilmartin spent several years with ASB/Meditest. Ms. Gilmartin is a graduate of Northeastern University and a certified Quality Improvement Associate of the American Society of Quality (ASQ).

Chuck Groseth

Senior Vice President, Chief Operating Officer, Health Plan Services

Mr. Groseth is responsible for business development, operations and network strategy for the Medicare Advantage and health plan markets. Mr. Groseth has more than 30 years in the insurance industry holding senior leadership positions with Equifax and Hooper Holmes prior to arriving at EMSI in 2008. Mr. Groseth is a graduate of the University of South Dakota.


 INVESTIGATIVE SERVICES DIVISION

David Merrill

President, ICS Merrill

Mr. Merrill serves as president of EMSI's Investigative Services Division, ICS Merrill. Mr. Merrill has spent his entire career in the fight against insurance fraud. A seasoned entrepreneur, he was most recently the CEO of The Merrill Group, a company that he founded, and grew to become one of the most respected firms in its space. He serves on the Board of several non-profit organizations, with an emphasis on children and those in need. He is a published author and recognized in the insurance and business community, serving also as a Director of AMCOMP and a Board member of PIRSAC.

Gary Myers

Senior Vice President of Operations, ICS Merrill

Mr. Myers has over 20 years of executive and operations experience in the insurance industry, with specific expertise in workers’ compensation. He started his career as an Assistant Ohio Attorney General, eventually becoming a workers’ compensation Administrative Law Judge for the state. While a judge, he coordinated a workers’ compensation fraud investigation that indicted and convicted 190 people of felonies, including eight doctors and eight attorneys. Upon completing this investigation, he created and managed the workers’ compensation Fraud Division for the Ohio Industrial Commission. Mr. Myers has held senior leadership positions with Incepture, American Equity Underwriters, First Benefits Insurance Company and Riscorp. He also created and led two workers’ compensation companies for Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Florida. He holds a juris doctor from the University of Akron School of Law and a degree in Accounting from Kent State University. He is also a member of the American Bar Association.

Halsey Fischer

Senior Vice President, ICS Merrill

Mr. Fischer has more than 24 years of experience in the investigative services field and has held the positions of Senior Vice President, Chief Operating Officer, President and CEO of four investigative services companies. In addition to developing existing markets, he is also responsible for initiatives related to growth in new markets. He is an active member of the American Society of Industrial Security (ASIS) and the World Association of Detectives and has served as a lieutenant in the U.S. Navy. He holds a MBA from the University of North Florida and a Bachelors of Science in chemical engineering from Vanderbilt University.

Stacy Hanson

Senior Vice President, Sales, ICS Merrill

Ms. Hanson has 19 years of experience that includes field investigations, SIU investigations and supervising field investigators. She has continued her education by obtaining her Workers' Compensation Claims Law Specialist and Fraud Claim Law Specialist designations. She also holds her All Lines Adjusters license and is a designated SIU within the State of Florida. She has authored several articles that have been published in the SIU Awareness magazine and Claims magazine. She is also a frequent speaker and often requested speaker at trade conferences.
